Bolt unharmed in crash

Usain Bolt

Olympic 100m champion Usain Bolt has escaped unharmed from a minor road accident in Jamaica, according to reports.

The Jamaica Gleaner reported Bolt’s car crashed at 5.15am this morning in Half Way Tree, St Andrew.

Bolt’s team-mate and rival Asafa Powell was said to be at the scene of the accident, but travelling in another car.

The pair competed in Oslo, Norway on Thursday, with Bolt beating Powell to gold at the Diamond League meeting.

Bolt crashed his car in 2009, rolling his BMW in a ditch and landing upside down, but escaped with minor injuries.
