Bale rescues Wales with brilliant free kick - leads to mass pitch invasion

Gareth Bale came to Wales’ rescue last night after an early Andorra goal got their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign off to the worst possible start.

The Andorran side converted a penalty early in the first half but Bale equalised before halftime.

The game looked to be heading for a draw before Bale scored this peach of a free kick with less than ten minutes to go.

The Welsh crowd were so overjoyed it led to a mass pitch invasion - eventually Bale himself could be seen gesturing the fans to get off the pitch.

*The video was filmed from the stands - so some strong language can be heard.
