Aldridge moves into frame following Kerr dismissal
19/10/2005 - 10:05:31John Aldridge has moved up to challenge the firm favourites in the betting, Martin O’Neill and David O’Leary, for the Irish manager’s job following last night’s axing of Brian Kerr.
Aldridge has come in from 16/1 to 13/2 with Boylesports after the decision.
Former England boss Bobby Robson has also moved significantly in the betting, from 16/1 to 10/1.
The long time favourites with Boylesports still lead the way, with Martin O’Neill top of the pile at 5/2, while current Aston Villa boss David O’Leary is close behind at 5/1.
