Zelda Williams has paid tribute to her late father by tattooing a stunning hummingbird and her father’s date of birth on her wrist.
The daughter of the Oscar winning Robin Williams posted a picture of her ink on Wednesday with the caption “For poppo. Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life.”
She then took to Twitter to defend the haters from suggesting that a robin would have been more fitting.
Over the last few weeks, Zelda has also been using her Twitter account to icourage people to be more aware of their mental health, after her father’s lifelong battle with depression.
She took to Instagram yesterday to reveal that she’s once again taking a break from the social networking world.
"As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future," she captioned.
"To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity," Zelda warned her 80,000 plus followers.
"They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you."
"For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you."
Zelda wasn’t the only star paying tribute this week, Kelly Osbourne also got a tattoo of a bumble bee in honour of her late friend Joan Rivers.
"In honor of you @joanrivers.... Thank you for being my Miracle," she captioned.
"If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds."
Kelly's idea to get a bumble bee tattooed on her right shoulder is a direct reference to Joan as a bee pin was the signature design in the late comedienne's jewellery line.
