Wyatt: Pussycat Dolls still 'quite close'

Kimberly Wyatt has insisted the Pussycat Dolls are still close.

The 30-year-old singer - who formed one sixth of the band along with Carmit Bachar, 38, Ashley Roberts, 31, Jessica Sutta, 30, Nicole Scherzinger, 34 and Melody Thornton, 28 - says the band were like "sisters" and still speak, despite longstanding rumours of in-fighting within the chart-topping girl group.

She told Britain's OK! magazine: "We're all quite close. We were sisters and as we see each other go out there and gain opportunities and make new music, and I see others doing such great things, it gives me this joyful drive to keep going and keep doing it together."

Despite the suggestion of harmony amongst the group, the 'Got to Dance' judge says she didn't cross paths with 'X Factor' star Nicole while both were in London filming their respective reality shows.

She said: "I've been so busy with 'Got to Dance' and focusing on myself and my career, so I haven't seen much of her, no."

Kimberly did however support fellow blonde beauty Ashley on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' last year, on which she came in second place behind 'EastEnders' actress Charlie Brooks.

She added: "I'm so proud of her facing all those challenges and showing everyone her true self who I have grown to love and adore as a best friend."
