Would you climb the highest mountain to see Tommy Tiernan? Well here is your chance.

Our very own Irish comedians Tommy Tiernan and Ardal O'Hanlon are trekking to Mount Everest to be a part of the World record attempt for the highest comedy gig in the world.

The Irish pair will be joined by Rhys Darby, Stewart Francis, Craig Campbell and Glenn Wool plus 50 comedy fans who will get to enjoy the gig.

And that could be you!

The crew with take part in a nine day trek high into the Nepal Himalaya but stop off at Base Camp where the gig will take place on a purpose built stage.

The event - which is also designed as a TV documentary - will take place in October 2015 and will be also raise funds for the Save The Children charity.

We’re just hoping “On Mt. Everest, On Mt. Everest” will have the same ring to it.
