Alfie Deyes or ‘Pointless Blog’ is a one of YouTube's top british vloggers with over five million subscribers over his three YouTube channels; Pointlessblog, PointlessBlogTv and Alfiegames.
And now a #1 bestselling author.
Last weekend 8,000 screaming fangirls took over Waterstones in Piccadilly Circus, London, for Deyes’ very first book signing. Some fans even waited for up to seven hours for Alfie to arrive and of course he vlog the whole experience.
*BEWARE* Scenes might reflect those of a One Direction concert.
Alfie’s videos - which have reached a view count of over 200 million - cover anything from gaming videos with his girlfriend, fellow web celeb Zoella (who boast over eight million subscribers) or challenge videos with fellow youtubers such as, Marcus Butler (four million subscribers), Tyler Oakley (over five million subscribers) and Sprinkleofglitter (three million subscribers).
Alfie’s book - cleverly named ‘The Pointlessblog’ - is a “basically just full of loads of crazy fun, weird little activities for you to do”, but don’t let us tell you, he has made a video all about it.
Cake in a mug?! We are intrigued!
The challenges featured in the book are all challenges that Alfie has previously taken on his popular YouTube channel and with nearly 200 five stars reviews on Amazon it seems extremely popular and even difficult to lay your hands on. Easons are already sold out!

If nothing it’s something to keep the kids quiet on a long car journey!
Alfie's girlfriend Zoe Sugg is also set to release her first novel, A Girl Online, in November of this year, which is of course no. 1 on the Amazon pre-order charts.
Alfie’s book tour has currently been postponed due to crowd safety reasons but the YouTuber expects to have booked a date in Dublin in the next few months.
