From Bono’s biking accident earlier in the year, to the death of their tour manager Dennis Sheehan yesterday, it’s been a tough few months for U2.
Though that didn’t stop them making one fan’s dreams come true during their LA Forum concert.
Bono invited Joe Hier, the lead singer of a U2 tribute band, on stage for The Sweetest Thing.
In full Bono gear, the singer introduced himself to the crowd while the Irish singer joked about him not following suit and going full platinum blonde.
"Don't want to mess with the day job?" he asked.
We’re not sure any Bono impersonator is
dedicated.Hier held another fan's iPhone and filmed the performance before Bono passed the mic over to him and took to the piano.
"You've got a great voice," the real Bono told Hier afterwards.

And who said dreams don’t come true?
