WATCH: Samuel L Jackson sings a song to highlight the recent anti-police-brutality protests

Samuel L Jackson has sang a song to hightlight a believed injustice against African American by police and challenged fellow celebrities to do the same.

The Pulp Fiction actor took to his Facebook page yesterday and challenged “all the celebrities out there who poured ice water on [their] head[s]” to sing the “We Ain’t Gonna Stop Till People Are Free” song.

The song, written by Luke Nephew of the Peace Poets, has become the anthem of the recent anti-police-brutality protests across the United States.

The lyrics “I can’t breathe” were inspired by Eric Garner, who was killed in a chokehold by an NYPD officer this July.

The lyrics are as follows:

“I still hear my brother crying -- "I can't breathe"

Now I'm in the struggle singing -- "I can't leave"

We calling out the violence of these racist police

And we ain't gonna stop -- 'til our people are free!”

Though the Facebook post currently shows over 67,000 shares and 54,000 likes, fellow celebrities have been slow to respond to the challenge.

Although celebrities have yet to take on the challenge, semi-famous YouTubers have released versions of the anthem in support to the cause.
