Always seen to crack a joke, Cilla Black was on top form at last year’s BAFTA award ceremony.
The star was awarded with the 2014 British Academy Television Special Award at the event, in which she gladly chatted to the press in the winners room about her achievements and the ITV drama made about her life, ‘Cilla’.
"My life is flashing before me," she began talking about the series that starred Sheridan Smith as Cilla.
“It’s a great honour, as with the BAFTA, that somebody in your own lifetime plays you”.
She then, after praising writer Jeff Pope, jokingly exclaimed: “What more could you ask? Maybe I should die next year”
