Walters 'honoured' to be in line for SuBo movie role

Julie Walters would love to play Susan Boyle in a movie.

The 'Harry Potter' actress has been named by the 'Wild Horses' singer as her first choice to portray her life on the big screen, and the British star says she would be "really honoured" to take on the challenge.

She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I'm really honoured, because I'm massively touched by her and she's got a gorgeous voice."

While Julie, 62, is favourite to win the role of Susan, she insists she hasn't yet been offered the job.

She said: "Nobody has actually asked me to do it, just yet."

Susan - who shot to fame after competing on UK TV talent show 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009 - has previously spoken of her belief that no one could play her in film as well as Julie would.

"There's only one person I'd love to play me - and that's Julie Walters.

"She would do the job and you just know she would do my story justice."

The 51-year-old star has also admitted she would love George Clooney to be on board to play her manager.

She said: "It's wishful thinking. But it's Hollywood... anything can happen."
