Vote for Jane and Ian Beale’s wedding song here

Eastenders are leaving YOU chose Jane and Ian Beale’s wedding song.

Jane and Ian Beale, played by Laurie Brett and Adam Woodyatt, are to tie the knot for a second time next month and it’s now been revealed fans of the BBC One soap will be given the chance to vote for the music they’d like to hear played during the ceremony.

The nuptials of Walford’s longest running character are tied into the popular drama’s 30th anniversary week of live and semi-live episodes, which will see the killer of his daughter Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater) revealed, and viewers are being given the chance to get involved.

‘EastEnders’ fanatics will be able to vote for their favourite out of a list of five tracks, all of which were hit singles in 1985 – the year in which the show was first broadcast.

The choices include:

‘The Power of Love’ by Jennifer Rush

‘‘I Want to Know What Love Is’ by Foreigner

‘Chicago’s ‘You’re the Inspiration’

‘‘That Old Devil Called Love’ by Alison Moyet

‘There Must be an Angel (Playing with my heart) – Eurythmics

Voting has opened on the soap’s official website, although it is unclear whether we can vote from the Republic of Ireland so we made our own poll.

To find out which song is chosen, tune into the ‘EastEnders’ live week, which kicks off on BBC One on Monday February 16.
