'Vanilla Ice on Ice' is a thing, no really

As we come up to the festive season thoughts of cosy fires, fairy lights and Christmas shows are the forefront of everyone's mind.

But this is one show we never thought would be appearing in the event guide alongside the Christmas Panto.

Vanilla Ice on Ice.

Yes, American rapper Vanilla Ice will be performing at the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink, London in a concert like no other.

The experience, running from December 20-22, will give fans the chance to dance on Ice as Ice himself belts out his best known hits, including his 1990 release Ice Ice Baby - we swear we didn’t make this up.

Remember when he starred on Dancing on Ice in 2011?

Let us refresh your memory:

Speaking about the concert, the event promoters Cuffe and Taylor have said: “Vanilla Ice on Ice is going to be a truly unique experience giving people the chance to skate during the concert.

“Vanilla Ice is a firm favourite with people of all ages and since his appearance on Dancing on Ice he clearly has a passion for ice skating.

“We’re sure that these three nights of concerts are going to be hugely popular and a fabulously fun way to start the festive period.”
