Styles and Taylor to be kept apart at BRITs

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift will be kept apart by bosses of the BRIT Awards tonight.

One Direction lothario Harry and his band will have their own dressing room in one part of London's The O2 venue, while his ex-girlfriend Taylor will be kept in a completely different section to avoid any awkward moments.

A source told the Metro newspaper: "No one wants anything awkward to happen. Taylor and Harry are definitely being kept well apart.

"Taylor is near Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake, Mumford & Sons and [host] James Corden in one area. Harry is down a different corridor with an extra-large room for himself and the other 1D lads."

Since Harry and Taylor split over New Year they have both been extra careful to avoid each other, deliberately arriving at different times to the NRJ Awards in France.

Tensions between them are thought to be running high after Taylor appeared to mock Harry's British accent when she opened the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Harry, 19, will be performing his new Comic Relief single 'One Way Or Another' with One Direction - who are up for Best British Group - at the BRITs.

They were even given a different day to rehearse to Taylor, 23, who is up for the International Female Solo Artist gong and is expected to perform her track 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' at tonight's show.
