SPOILERS: Home and Away heartthrob films final scenes in the Bay

Home and Away will be bidding farewell to one of its most-loved characters very soon as it is revealed that Heath Braxton is currently filming his last few days at Summer Bay.

Although these final scenes will not be aired on our screens until later this year, we can reveal his exit storyline.

Heath, played by Dan Ewing, will apparently be leaving Summer Bay to pursue a new life with his wife Bianca (Lisa Gormley).

After being questioned by the authorities about his ability to care for his young daughter Darcy and avoiding a messy custody battle, the riverboy decides to relocate to the city.

“It’s a really emotional time. The whole Braxton family gathers in the backyard to farewell Heath, Darcy and Harley,” Dan Ewing told TV Week.

“It’s especially hard for Heath to watch Darcy say goodbye to her uncles,” he added.

Heath’s onscreen love interest, Bianca - played by Lisa Gormley - has also recently opened up about her final scenes for the Aussie soap.

The actress who has been openingly vocal about one day moving to London to pursue her dreams of acting in periodical dramas, has done just that.

Although Bianca will briefly return to collect hubby Heath before heading to their new home.

“The surprise visit from Bianca makes things a little easier for Heath. Everyone really enjoys getting the chance to see her again,” said Dan.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, the star posts this picture of him with his onscreen son Harley.

Oh the emotions!

Will you miss the riverboy? What are you favourite Heath moments?
