SPOILER ALERT: Got princess for hire

A certain princess whose role has been recast - yes, she admits it's embarrassing - has posted her reaction on Vine.

SPOILER ALERT: Got princess for hire

Game of Thrones actress Aimee Richardson has taken to Vine to express her feelings after learning her part was to be recast.

Until recently, Richardson played Myrcella Baratheon in the hit HBO adaptation of the fantasy novels. Myrcella, for those of you who don’t know, is the middle Baratheon child; younger sister of Joffrey and older sister of Tommen.

During season two of the show Myrcella was sent to live in Dorne in a deal brokered by her uncle Tyrion, designed to bolster a Lannister alliance.

The actress then posted a Vine after the Purple Wedding episode aired suggesting that Aimee was biding her time until Myrcella’s return to centre stage.

However since then, it was announced at this year’s Comic-Con that the role had been recast and Nell Tiger Free will play Myrcella for the coming season.

On hearing the news, Aimee took straight to social media and posted this hillarious Vine with the caption “Well this is embarrassing”.

Well done Aimee, well done. If we ever have need for a princess we'll hire you.
