Sheen in Scotland to hunt down Loch Ness Monster

Charlie Sheen flew to Scotland for a day in a bid to hunt down the elusive Loch Ness Monster.

The 'Anger Management' star - who recently hinted he was in the country on the lookout for the mythical beast - made a last-minute decision to jump on a private jet last week and head over to famous Scottish lake Loch Ness, where the creature is said to live, but he had no luck finding it.

Charlie and his friends Todd Zeile and Brian Peck stayed at the historic Aldourie Castle, on the shores of the loch, during the short trip, and the castle's general manager, Lavinia Turner, is expecting the trio to return to the area and hunt for Nessie again.

She told the Daily Record newspaper: "All I can say is that Mr. Sheen and his party were perfect guests and thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Scotland and Loch Ness.

"They had a wonderful and relaxing time but unfortunately didn't see any sign of Nessie although I'm sure they'll be back in the future to try again."

Last week, Charlie treated his Twitter fans to a picture of him wearing a bronze battle helmet as he hinted at a plan to search for the mythical beast.

Referring to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the top science universities in the world, he wrote: "Once again MIT grant sanctioned archeologists Pekk & Sheen, rig battle gear for tonight's sortie on the Loch Ness. (sic)"
