Security at Oxegen stepped up

Thousands of music fans are getting ready for the last day of the Oxegen Festival in Punchestown today.

Thousands of music fans are getting ready for the last day of the Oxegen Festival in Punchestown today.

Security this year has been increased, following criticism of last year's event.

Two thousand security personnel are policing the festival grounds, along with 200 gardaí.

Organisers say a zero tolerance policy is in operation and anyone caught breaking the law will be removed, and banned from all future MCD concerts.
