RTÉ star Maia Dunphy and hubby Johnny Vegas tweet pregnancy announcement

RTÉ star Maia Dunphy and hubby Johnny Vegas have tweeted this funny baby scan photo to announce they are expecting their first child.

The What Women Want presenter posted a picture of her scan on Twitter – photoshopping in a pint of Guinness.

In which Johnny added:

The couple - who have been married three and a half years - revealed last year that they had never lived together due to their clashing work commitments in both England and Ireland.

At the time Maia admitted that the couple were planning to wait until they moved in together to begin a family, and today's announcement marks the three months anniversary of her moving to the UK from Dublin.

“The longest time we spent together which was two weeks. Now suddenly we’re living together in London and it’s a lovely house, a small house, it’s cosy,” she has said.

Comedian Johnny, 40, already has an 11-year-old son Michael, with his ex-wife.

Congrats guys!
