Rihanna has made a cryptic attack on Chris Brown saying "love ain't for kidz".

The 'Diamonds' hitmaker suggested she is no longer "settling" for the 'Fine China' singer in a new post on her Twitter account after Chris confirmed they had ended their relationship in an Australian radio interview.

She tweeted: "Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain't for kidz #butimsleeptho (sic)"

Rihanna's tweet comes just 48 hours after Chris revealed he had split from the songstress, declaring he wanted to see "as many girls as possible" when quizzed about his 24th birthday plans on 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' on Australian radio station 2DayFM.

Asked to clarify if he and the 'We Found Love' singer had broken up, he replied: "I'm going to do it solo, at the end of the day, she's already doing her thing, she's on the road ... there's always going to be love, but I'm just going to do me. I'm a grown man."

Chris and Rihanna rekindled their controversial romance last year - after originally splitting in 2009 after the 'Turn up the Music' singer assaulted her - but it seems that the couple have again called time on their relationship, with Chris suggesting he is in no hurry to settle down.

He explained: "The way I look at it is ... I'm always going to love that person, but people have differences, and people have different wants and needs, at the end of the day she's a young girl.

"I can't really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young, and I'm young too. I just got to step forward and be the man and be the best Chris Brown I can be instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket. "
