Reid: Ex-partner and I still live together with our children
Breakfast show presenter Susanna Reid has explained how she still lives with the father of her three sons despite them splitting up - and him having a new girlfriend.
The 43-year-old former Strictly star sleeps under the same roof as her ex-partner of 16 years Dominic Cotton despite news of their separation emerging in March this year.
In an interview with the Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, the host of ITV’s 'Good Morning Britain' explained that they still get on and can live happily together.
She said: “I’m privileged to have a great relationship with my ex, to the point where we can live together comfortably and he can have a new relationship.”
Despite the stresses of their split, they have remained friends for the sake of their boys, Sam, 12, Finn, 10, and Jack, nine.
She explained the separation had been tough “but it’s nice for the children that they know mum and dad are still there”.
The TV presenter, who was poached from the BBC after 20 years to host the new ITV show earlier this year, shot into the limelight after coming second in last year’s 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
