One Direction announce new album

One Direction are to release their fifth album 'Made In The A.M.' in November.

The 'Night Changes' hitmakers today announced the name of their highly anticipated new album and revealed it will be available to buy later this year.

To celebrate the launch of the record, band members Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan have also released a second track from the album as a special surprise for anybody who pre-orders the album or streams through online retailers.

The song titled 'Infinity' - which follows on from the first single from the album, 'Drag Me Down' - is described as an epic and rousing slice of guitar pop written by John Ryan, Jamie Scott and Julian Bunetta who were the team behind their hit single 'Story of My Life'.

The song will continue to showcase the band's more mature sound and will provide a taster of what to expect from the upcoming album.

'Made In The A.M.' - which is One Direction's first album since Zayn Malik decided to quit the band earlier this year - is available to pre-order from 5pm today and will be released globally on Friday November 13.

Meanwhile, the boys are currently preparing to kick off the UK and Ireland leg of their 'On The Road Again Tour' with six nights at The O2 in London and will also headline the Apple Music Festival at the Roundhouse tonight.
