No fourth concert for Garth Brooks, says promoter

Disappointed Garth Brooks fans who failed to secure a ticket have been warned not to expect a fourth date to be added.

The third date at Croke Park on Sunday, July 27 was added this morning shortly after tickets went on sale.

But concert promoter Peter Aiken poured cold water on the prospect of a fourth date.

When asked on Newstalk if another concert could be added, he said: “I don’t think so. The qualifiers are on the following weekend.”

Hundreds of people were seen queuing in towns and cities across Ireland in the hope of securing tickets, some since the weekend.
