New Xposé presenter revealed

Former TMZ presenter Peter O’ Riordan will join Karen Koster, Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon and Aisling O’ Loughlin on the Xposé team.

Hello Peter!

You might remember him from the 'Beyonce and Jay Z’s visit to Ireland' fiasco when he allegedly claimed that the couple were left alone because Irish people probably didn’t know who they were.

If not here's a reminder:

The comment received a ton of hate and the backlash even pushed an iRadio DJ to leave the company an irate voicemail.

The Cork native defended himself at the time tweeting: "Just for the record anyone in Ireland that wants to come at me, watch the video and educate urself first!"

All must be forgotten as on Saturday Peter jokingly referred to the controversy when he touched down in Dublin.

Peter - originally from Ballincollig - moved to LA in 2010 and worked his way up from a field producer to assignment manager at TMZ LA over a span of three years.

He is famously the first European on the EMMY nominated TV show TMZ.

He has played his part in breaking stories such as Whitney Houston’s death and Jay Z and Solange’s elevator fight and reached a record high of 60 million unique visitors monthly while running the assignment desk.

He admits his heart will always be in Ireland and he is ecstatic to be joining TV3.

"After almost four years of working with the number 1 celebrity news outlet TMZ, I'm absolutely ecstatic to be given the opportunity to work with such an amazing brand and network being Xposé and TV3. I will give nothing less than my blood sweat and tears in ensuring Xposé staves it's meteoric rise and beyond. I'm incredibly grateful and absolutely dying to get stuck in," Peter said speaking exclusively to Xposé.ie.

Tweets have been flooding in expressing their sadness that he is leaving the hit TV show.

But we are delighted to have him and excited to see what he will bring to Xposé - and of course it helps that he pleases the eye!
