Netflix announces Orange is the New Black season three date

Good news for Netflix fans!

Not only has the video streaming site comfirmed that Orange is the New Black will return on June 12, it has also announced the release dates of three brand new series.

The entertainment site has been teasing more original content since the huge success of OITNB and today they’ve given us three to look forward to; Between, Sense 8 and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day at Camp.

Between (released May 2015) is a Canadian survivalist thriller, starring Jennette McCurdy as a survivor of a plague that has killed everyone over 21.

Sense8 (released June 5) will tell the story of eight strangers (Smith, Middleton, Ameen, Bae, Silvestre, Desae, Riemelt, and Clayton) from different cultures and parts of the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, suddenly find themselves mentally and emotionally connected.

Each episode will heavily feature one character and their story.

And Wet American Summer (released July 17) is an eight-episode series following the misadventures of campers and counselors at Camp Firewood - an adaption to the 2001 film of the same name.

We personally can’t wait for this one - just have a look at the cast!

Three original stand-up comedy specials have also been announced; Chris D’Elia: Incorrigible - April 17, Jen Kirkman: I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine) - May 22 and What Happened Miss Simone - June 26.

Looks likes perfect summer viewing to us.

Netflix recently acquired Jadotville at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival. The war thriller will be filmed in Ireland and South Africa and helmed by Irish director Richie Smyth.

Starring Fifty Shades of Grey’s Jaime Dornan, the film will go into production in April and will be exclusively available on Netflix in 2016.
