Food shopping these days isn’t simply a case of nipping down to the supermarket and picking up whatever takes your fancy.
Instead, there’s a startling array of products on offer, from no frills items that may lack a little finesse, to the most expensive, top-of-the-range produce whose packaging is almost a work of art in itself.
And then there’s a heap of stuff in between. This new series follows two families who live close to each other, but whose shopping and eating habits are miles apart.
They change places for four days, during which they’ll sample the food usually eaten by each other’s families. Once the experiment is over, we’ll discover whether they go back to their old ways, or change their approach for good.
