May wedding date for Brad and Ang?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are rumoured to be getting married at the end of May.

The couple - who have six children, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, together - are said to be telling close pals to keep the last week of May free, sparking speculation their nuptials will be taking place then.

An insider told the new UK issue of Grazia magazine: "Brad has asked those closest to him to make sure they're free the week after the Cannes Film Festival finishes on 26 May.

"Brad will be in Cannes with Angelina and the kids to promote 'World War Z'. He has also blocked out a couple of weeks in his work schedule afterwards, which has made his friends even more certain."

Brad, 49, and his 37-year-old fiancee are currently renovating their £35m Chateau Miraval mansion in the South of France and all signs are pointing towards them using the home for their wedding and reception.

A local source said: "Everything is pointing to the end of May or beginning of June. Their renovations are due to finish any day now and builders have been working around the clock to complete in time…plus all of Brad and Angelina's closest friends in the industry will be in town for Cannes."

An assistant for Angelina - who was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and musician-and-actor Billy Bob Thornton - collected their wedding rings for them from top Los Angeles jewellers Neil Lane at the end of November.
