Louis Walsh talks about his feud with Ronan Keating on the anniversary of Stephen Gately's death

It’s hard to believe that it’s been six years since the sudden death of Stephen Gately.

Since then, countless tributes continue to be paid to the singers by his friends, family and former Boyzone members.

Over the weekend Louis Walsh opened up about his bond with Stephen and his dislike for Ronan Keating.

“Stephen was like, the big heartthrob. He was so grateful,” Louis told Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom on their new TV show, At Home with Steph and Dom.

“Most of them are very ungrateful, they just turn into monsters”.

Steph then went on to ask the music mogul about his relationship with Ronan Keating.

“Ronan Keating went on to do all sorts of other things, but he’s not very nice is he?” she probed.

Causing an uncomfortable Louis asking, “Can I phone a friend on that one?”

And later adding, “Look, I don’t care for him”.

The pair fell out in 2003 when Ronan fired Louis as his manager but they put their differences aside when Stephen passed away in 2009.
