Kings of Leon are to headline at Dublin's Marlay Park on Friday, July 4, it was announced today.

Kings of Leon are to headline at Dublin's Marlay Park on Friday, July 4, it was announced today.

They will be supported by Kodaline.

Tickets are on sale on the morning of Saturday, February 8.

The Marlay Park show will be the first time that Kings of Leon have played in the Republic of Ireland since their sold out show at the historic Slane Castle in 2011.

Kodaline’s debut album ‘In A Perfect World’ was the biggest selling Irish album of 2013 and spent nine weeks at number 1 while also enjoying 30 weeks in the top ten.

The record has been nominated for the Meteor Choice Music Prize while their single 'Brand New Day' is shortlisted for Irish Song of the Year.
