Kings of Leon confirmed for Oxegen 2008
Kings of Leon have been confirmed to play Oxegen 2008, after the band topped a poll on the festival's website.
The group, who play the first of their two sold out shows at Dublin's RDS tonight, were delighted with the news.
"We love playing in Ireland," said lead singer, Caleb Followill. "The fans are brilliant and we can’t wait to play Oxegen 2008."
Cut-price early bird weekend camping tickets for the festival go on sale on this Friday November 30 from Ticketmaster outlets.
The festival is to be extended to a third day next year.
