Katona's kids in 'traumatic' car crash

Kerry Katona's children were involved in a "traumatic" car crash.

The 34-year-old Atomic Kitten singer's daughters Mollie, 13, Lilly-Sue, 12, and Heidi, eight, as well as her seven-year-old son Max, were being driven by their nanny when their car was hit by another vehicle.

They were taking Heidi for an unrelated emergency appointment after she was referred by her GP, when the accident happened.

A source said: "The front of the car is smashed in. They could all have been seriously injured. It was traumatic."

The nanny and kids were checked over in A&E when they eventually arrived at hospital for Heidi's appointment, and no one was injured.

However Kerry - who is currently married to her third husband George Kay - has been left "distraught" by the event, and thinks her life is "cursed.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the source added: "Kerry is distraught and feels cursed. Every time her life appears to be running smoothly, something like this happens."

While no one was injured, Heidi was kept in hospital overnight, with the unrelated illness, and had her mum by her bedside, as well as her dad - Kerry's ex Mark Croft.

The former 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here' winner's mum, Sue, travelled from her home in Cheshire, England to help look after the rest of the family, including Kerry's 13-month-old daughter Dylan-Jorge Rose, who escaped the crash as she was with Kerry and George at the time.
