It was star wars in the jungle as the I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! contestants took on some of TV’s most familiar faces to win tickets to a hot tub party.
A television was brought into camp so the celebrities could compete with names including Davina McCall, former Spice Girl Mel B and Peter Andre.
Fashion designer David Emanuel was first up to see who could hold a note the longest and outsang McCall, but Lucy Pargeter flopped in a hula hoop challenge against former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
The Emmerdale actress protested about her pop star rival, saying it was not a “fair” contest but did not mind when she lost.
She said: “I don’t like hot tubs – they remind me of warm wee wee in a bath. No-one can do it, I’ve never been able to hula hoop so I’ll take one for the team.”
Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington also lost out when she took on Loose Women host Janet Street Porter to see who could unravel a roll of sticky tape the quickest, but American actor Alfonso Ribeiro restored some pride when he beat Dermot O’Leary in a spinning-around-on-the-spot competition.
Reality TV star Joey Essex and model Amy Willerton won their own individual challenges but failed as a pair when This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield beat them in a balloon-popping contest.
