The lawyer for Michael Jackson's mother says Katherine Jackson has agreed to allow a co-guardian of the late pop star's three children.
Perry Sanders Jr said the decision was made after a meeting he had with the Jackson family matriarch on Thursday. He announced the deal in a statement today.
A judge on Wednesday suspended Katherine Jackson's guardianship duties temporarily and appointed Tito Joe "TJ" Jackson as temporary guardian. He is the son of Michael's brother Tito.
Mr Sanders said Jackson's 15-year-old son Prince told lawyers the agreement reflects the wishes of the three children.
The agreement comes after days of turmoil in the Jackson family, including questions about Ms Jackson's health and whereabouts.
