Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role of Wolverine in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.
The actor is in talks to take on the part of the superhero once more in director Bryan Singer's sequel to 'X-Men: First Class', which was a prequel to the trilogy that starred Jackman as the brooding mutant.
'Days of Future Past' is based on Chris Claremont's classic 1981 storyline that switches back and forth between the "present day" and an alternate future in which mutants are held in internment camps.
Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen - who starred in the first three movies with Jackman - have already signed up to the movie and producers are desperate to get the 'Les Miserables' star on board as well.
In 'First Class' James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender stepped in to replace Stewart and McKellan in the roles of Professor X and Magneto, respectively.
Whatever happens, fans can still see Jackman as Wolverine as he will be reprising the role in 2013's 'The Wolverine', which he is also co-producing.
