Meet Sharhia Barry, the 24-year-old Galway model who has landed a job as Kim Kardashian’s stand in.
Shahira stood in for Kardashian star during a recent promo shoot for their E! show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Speaking on Today FM’s Anton Savage Show the model said: "I got a call last week saying they thought I was the perfect look as someone's stand in. They didn't tell me who it was but they asked me if I was interested in the job.
"I was working on a Subway commercial four months ago and I didn't expect anything to come from it ... it was just a job that I was doing”.
She described the famous clan to be “just the way they are on TV”.
"Kim is so sweet, so smiley, very happy and a really nice person,” she added.
Not only did the Athenry native stand in for Kim, also stood in for Kylie, Kendall, Khloe, Kris and Kourtney during the shoot.
The job consisted of standing in current positions to help perfect lighting and camera angles.
That way the set would be ready and waiting for the famous family.
Since packing up her job as a primary school teacher and moving to LA, Shahira briefly featured in Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk, Ted 2 and alongside Colin Farrell in True Detective.
Remember those girls that walk past Mark Ronson and crew at the beginning of Uptown Funk?
Well, she was one of them!
"I'm not where I want to be yet,” she continued.
“But I have so many stories that I can already tell my grandkids that are really bizarre for a girl from Athenry."
