'I'm a Celeb' star Adlington is not pregnant, says fiancé

Rebecca Adlington's fiancé insists the swimmer is not pregnant.

Rebecca Adlington's fiancé has insisted that the swimmer is not pregnant and "in good shape".

The 24-year-old swimmer has sparked speculation she is pregnant with her emotional behaviour and having being ruled out of three 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' trials on unspecified medical grounds.

Her fiancé Harry Needs,- who arrived in Australia yesterday to support his partner, insists the rumours are not true.

He said: "I can honestly say hand on heart, she's not."

"Unless something went on in the jungle without me?" he joked.

"Becky's in good shape."

Harry's denial came after fans took to Twitter to question why the Olympian keeps being excused from trials.

And an insider admitted there has been a lot of speculation about the sportswoman within the show.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The gossip mill has been working overtime. Other stars have been exempt at various points as well - but their complaints are all out in the open."

Adlington had to undergo a thorough medical examination before being allowed on the show, and it has also been speculated her exemption from the trials has been due to her suffering from claustrophobia.

An ITV spokesperson insisted they would not let anyone compete if they were pregnant and refused to comment on any medical issues.
