Hurley's car found - where she left it

A "stolen" car belonging to 'Austin Powers' star Elizabeth Hurley has been found - where she left it.

The 47-year-old actress reported to police that her £75,000 (€86,729) Audi saloon had been taken when she went shopping in London last Thursday, but the vehicle has been discovered in the same parking space the brunette beauty initially left it in.

While she is sure to be thrilled to have her vehicle back, Hurley received £240 (€277.53) in parking fines for the car.

One nearby shop worker said: "It's been here every day, with tickets piling up.

"How stupid or rich do you have to be to forget about your car for that long?"

Other local workers reported the 'Bedazzled' actress - who is engaged to cricketer Shane Warne - appeared "lost and disoriented" the day she went shopping.

One told The Sun newspaper: "She arrived at lunchtime and began walking one way down the road, then turned around and went the other.

"She comes here quite a lot but looked a bit lost and disoriented. You can only park there for four hours but she never returned for it.

"We saw the car on Friday and had bets on whether it would still be there Monday morning.

"I couldn't believe it when I read she thought it had been taken."
