Gemma Collins has threatened to quit TV "for good".
The 'The Only Way Is Essex' star - who walked out of the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' camp on Wednesday after struggling to cope with the harsh jungle conditions - has been left so traumatised by her experience on the ITV reality show she has told her close pals she is considering abandoning her TV career, reports The Sun newspaper.
According to a friend, she said: "I'm going to give up television for good.
"This has been such a massive wake-up call. I had no idea this was going to be so hard.
"I've been on a rollercoaster ride for the last three years and it might be time to get off.
"The jungle was torture, but it gave me time to think. I have to completely re-evaluate my life."
The 33-year-old star - who has now safely returned home - struggled with the lack of food on the show and claimed all she wanted was a ham sandwich and a packet of Quavers when she was given nothing but porridge to eat.
Following her departure, Gemma also blamed her meltdowns on the emotional turmoil of splitting from boyfriend Alex Moss just hours before she flew to Australia.
She admitted that the show had proved too much for her and described the experience as "hellish".
She said: "Don't get me wrong, I love going for walks in the forests in England where there are no wild animals.
"I will never ever dislike nature, but I will just never ever come to Australia again."
'Coronation Street' actor Craig Charles also decided to leave the jungle yesterday after learning that his older brother Dean had suffered a fatal heart attack.
