French President dating Jagger's ex?
A supermodel-turned-singer who once dated Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton is now romancing French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Carla Bruni, 39, was photographed with Sarkozy, 52, at the Disneyland theme park near Paris, France on Saturday.
Although the pair has yet to confirm dating reports, the editor of L'Express magazine, Christophe Barbier, claims Bruni has told him she's romantically linked to the French leader.
Barbier says: "She told me that the publicity surrounding this story did not bother her and that from now on, it would become an affair, a public love story.
"We must now wait and see how far the president will go in presenting Carla Bruni officially (as his partner)."
Sarkozy, a father of three, became the first French president to divorce while in office in October, when he ended his 11-year marriage to Cecilia Sarkozy.
In his recent book 'Clapton: The Autobiography', guitarist Clapton revealed he once took Bruni, his then-21-year-old girlfriend, to watch 'The Rolling Stones' in concert and introduced her to the band backstage.
Upon seeing her reaction when singer Jagger entered the room, Clapton approached his friend and said: "Please Mick, not this one. I think I'm in love."
But Jagger took no notice of the guitarist's pleas - and later dated 'it girl' Bruni.
