In September of last year, former Home and Away star Tessa James - who played Nicole Franklin in the hit Australian soap - revealed that she is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lumphoma.
"Tessa will be undergoing chemotherapy over the next few months," read the statement released by the Australian Daily Telegraph at the time.
"Tessa and Nate would like to thank all for their well wishes and would ask for privacy during this very difficult time."
Yesterday, a month after she celebrated the end of her chemotherapy treatment, Tessa has shared a photo of her and fellow cancer survivor, Australian celebrity Sally Obermeder.
Obermeder, who hosts The Daily Edition, was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant in 2011 and has since written a book where she talks about her own battle.
Tess captioned the photo; “This AMAZING inspiring woman”
Last month she also shared this fun snap of her and her family celebrating her final day of chemotherapy.
The 23-year-old was joined by her family and her husband, National Rugby League star Nate Myles, marked the occassion by dressing up and hanging a sign which read 'Done and Dusted'.
Wearing a Wonder Woman costume and a gold crown, Tessa captioned the photo: "often fear is the same emotion as excitement, it means you are breaking new ground" #newbeginnings. #2015".
Get well soon Tess!
