AC/DC are planning a new album and huge world tour in 2014.
The legendary 'Back in Black' band are set to go back into the studio in Spring where they will work on the follow up to 2008's 'Black Ice'.
Singer Brian Johnson told radio station The Gater 98.7: "Really we've been denying anything, because we weren't sure ... But I think we'll be going into the studio in May in Vancouver. Which means, we should be getting ready."
The Australian band - which also includes brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams - are also planning a series of shows to mark 40 years since they formed in 1974.
The 66-year-old vocalist added: "It's been 40 years of the band's existence. So I think we're gonna try to do 40 gigs, 40 shows, to thank the fans for their undying loyalty.
“I mean, honestly, our fans are just the best in the world, and we appreciate every one of them.
“We'll have to go out, even though we're getting a bit long in the tooth.
“You know what? It's been four years, and I'm really looking forward to it."
In March last year, Williams confirmed Angus and Malcolm had been writing songs in preparation for the new album.
