MCD has confirmed garden gnomes are banned from the upcoming Foo Fighters gig in Slane.
Up to 80,000 people are expected at the concert on May 30, and Gardaí and promoters say security will be tight on the day.
Concert goers are being warned selfie sticks and long lens cameras will also not be allowed.
Eamonn Fox of MCD says at the request of the Foo Fighters they have banned garden gnomes.
Mr Fox said: "We got a security notice from the band and certain things are mentioned on it, and garden gnomes are on it.
"Whether it's put on it for us to be sure we have read it, so that it gets mentioned?
"Anything that's like a missile, it's in terms of anything that can be thrown at the act on the stage."
