Colin Farrell has refused to move to Hollywood, despite the career opportunities the fast-paced town has brought him.
Farrell rejects speculation the film district - notorious for the drugs, prostitutes and alcohol on offer to rich actors - would satisfy his off-camera needs, because he would hate to be part of the surreal Hollywood lifestyle.
He says: "I don't live in the system of Hollywood. In the four years I've been going on and off, I've never felt the inclination of being attracted to it, but it's not something I have to aggressively resist either.
"I've done very well out of the place, I've gotten work, and I'm fortunate enough to have got a lot of money from it. I've had some great times and some great laughs. I wouldn't change a thing. But to live there and be part of it all - no."
