Family and friends of the late Stephen Gately will gather in Dublin this afternoon for a ceremony marking the first anniversary of his death.
The former Boyzone singer died at the age of 33 last year while on holiday in Majorca.
A big turn out of locals and friends, including Keith Duffy, are expected at St Laurence O'Toole's Church in Dublin today, where Gately's funeral took place last year.
Fellow band members Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch are planning a special performance on the Australian version of 'X Factor' to mark the anniversary.
Duffy, who has work commitments here, will represent the band at the special Mass.
Gately, who joined Boyzone in the early 90s, died last October while holidaying with his husband Andrew Cowles in Spain.
