Dornan denies wife banned him from starring in Fifty Shades sequel

Jamie Dornan has denied claims he won't star in a 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel because his wife doesn't want him to.

It was reported that the 32-year-old hunk had told film bosses he wouldn't be reprising his role as kinky businessman Christian Grey in the next two films in the series, but it's now been claimed the sequels are yet to be confirmed.

A representative for the star told The Sun newspaper: "All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet."

The 'Fall' actor took on the role in the film based on E.L. James' novel of the same name after 'Sons of Anarchy' star Charlie Hunnam dropped out.

However, it has been claimed Dornan's wife Amelia Warner - with whom he has a young daughter - is unhappy with her husband getting intimate with co-star Dakota Johnson and had requested he turn down the sequels, although this has now been shot down as nothing but a "rumour".

Jamie's spokeswoman said: "There's no truth to this fabricated rumour."

Reports of troubles in their marriage emerged after an Australian publication claimed Amelia was unhappy with her husband of two years starring in explicit sex scenes.

NW magazine reported a source as saying: "Jamie said the movie would sky rocket his career.

"He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie.

"She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will, to be honest."
