Did Ed Sheeran just lie to us?
Earlier this month Ed Sheeran channelled Conor McGregor by getting a huge lion tattooed on his chest.
Apparently the tattoo, which resembles McGregor’s tiger on his stomach, was created to commemorate his sell-out Wembley gigs earlier this year.
Today the ginger-haired singer relieved to his 4.7m Instagram followers that it was all a joke.
“Only joking about the lion,” he captioned this photo of his bare chest.
At the time Sheeran posted the ‘lion tattoo’ he also took to Twitter to rant about fans negative reaction to the ink.
He even thanked his tattoo artist, Kevin Paul for putting up with him complaining.
Although now it looks like it was a mean prank.
Or was it?
