Dara Ó Briain has been the focus of attention on Twitter this week involving himself in heated war of words with some Twitter trolls on the topic of immigration.

The Bray-born comedian received some backlash from a particular user which he quitened with the best 140 characters we’ve seen in a long time.

User @extrastarsboss - who has since deleted his account - tweeted the comedian saying “no not at all u can’t say that Ireland is so different. It’s the same as all other English speaking nations”

In which Dara replied:

Which translates to - “No, there is not, has a language of its own, and the culture that goes with it. It is unfortunate that you do not understand.”

The comedian also included:

Maith an buachaill Dara … Maith an buachaill.
