Crooner Bennett: Gaga's voice will surprise people

Tony Bennett has teamed up with the Lady Gaga on the upcoming jazz album 'Cheek to Cheek' and admits he's keen to collaborate with her again because they get along so well.

"There were no moments of craziness or eccentricity when I was with her. She said that when she was 13 and singing jazz, 'Nobody ever paid any attention to me.' We get along great and she's just such a good improvised jazz singer. I think the public are going to say, 'I knew she could sing well but I didn't know she could sing THAT well,” he said speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper.

"I just love her and want to work with her as many times as possible in the future."

Tony believes their new album - which is due out September 23 - will show people the extent of Gaga's talents.

"She's a wonderful singer. Everybody knows and loves her very much,” he also recently told Rolling Stone magazine.

The pop princess is also very vocal about her love for the 88 years old jazz singer and has posted numerous photos of them on her social media accounts in the past few months.

“Today is one of the happiest days of my life. Just me and my baby, singing our blues away with Jazz.”

“Me and my babe”

The duo have also announced that they are the faces of H & M’s holiday campaign 2014.

Meanwhile, the legendary singer is preparing for his forthcoming world tour and admits he has no plans to retire just yet because he's feeling physically better than ever and loves being up on stage.

"I have so many things I'd still like to do. Here I am at 88 years old and I still feel I can get better. No, I'm not retiring - I still have a lot to learn," he explained.
