Coronation Street's Stella Price and Sunita Alahan are to join forces for a showdown with Karl Munro.
The Rovers Return landlady, who is played by Michelle Collins, and former barmaid Sunita (Shobna Gulati) will turn to her old boss to take on the gambling addict - who cheated on Stella with Sunita earlier this year - when she fears he is playing away again because he keeps disappearing.
A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Karl has got away with his bad boy behaviour for too long.
"He thinks he's got Sunita wrapped around his little finger. But he won't expect his new girlfriend to team up with his ex.
"He's not going to know what's hit him."
While the pair are joining forces, Stella still manages to have one final dig at Sunita - who is set to leave the ITV1 soap next year - and advises her to leave Karl because he will "take advantage" of her.
Stella is to tell Sunita: "I'm going to say something you might not want to hear. I was with Karl for a very long time. Looking back now I don't know how I did it, I really don't.
"I must have been out of my mind to forgive him for all the excuses and lies. A leopard never changes his spots.
"Don't be like me and waste years of your life on him, you'll only regret it.
"Maybe you regret it now. Don't let him take advantage of you, kick him out."
