Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend Cathriona White is to be buried in her native south Tipperary on Saturday.

Cathriona, whose body was found in her LA home on September 28 last, is to be buried alongside her father Pat at Cappawhite cemetery.

Mr White died in 2012 after a 20-year battle with brain cancer.

Jim Carrey is expected to attend the funeral. The pair had broken up prior to Ms White's death.

An autopsy has been carried out on Ms White's body, but the results of toxicology tests will not be known for some weeks.

The body of the 30-year old make up artist and aspiring actress was discovered by friends next to bottles of pills and several suicide notes. At least one note reportedly made reference to her split with Carrey.

Ms White was married to cameraman Mark Burton who is also expected to attend her funeral.

A large media presence is expected in Cappawhite to report on the funeral.

According to Cappawhite parish priest Fr Tadgh Furlong, Ms White missed her late father's funeral three years ago as she was living illegally in the US at the time.

Cathriona's mother Brigid, has also traveled to Cappawhite from her adopted home in England where she had been living for the past number of years.

Cathriona White's body will be reposing at her grandfather's funeral home, White's Funeral Home, in Cappawhite, tomorrow, Friday, from 5pm.

Her removal will take place at 8pm to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cappawhite.

Ms White's Requiem Mass is to take place on Saturday at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in Cappawhite Cemetery.
